Reiki is a Japanese spiritual energy healing technique. The word 'Reiki' is a combination of two words, “Rei”- means Universal and “Ki”- means Life force energy. This practice of healing has been rediscovered by Dr. MikaoUsui in 19th Century. Reiki energy flowing through the arms of the practitioner heals the root cause. It is stated that “reiki” energy can enhance physical, mental and emotional energy of any system. It works incredibly on humans, plants, animals, vehicles, home appliances etc. Receiving reiki energy for an hour is equivalent to four of sleep.
Reiki can be learned by receiving attunement from a Reiki Grandmaster. It has 3 levels namely First degree, second degree and Master level. First degree involves self healing, while second level involves healing others also. Master level is for disciples to become a healer to master. Only a master can attune new reiki channel. Others are only healers or reiki channels having healing ability.

Meditation is the practice of turning one's attention to a single point of reference. It can involve focusing on the breath, on bodily sensations, or on a word or phrase, known as a mantra. In other words, meditation means pivoting away from distracting thoughts and focusing on the present moment. The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature which is described as peace, happiness, and bliss. But as anyone who has tried to meditate knows, the mind itself is the biggest obstacle standing between ourselves and this awareness. Meditation will help you change your attitude towards life, and provide peace of mind and happiness. It helps you achieve a better understanding of yourself as well as others.Since it helps you clear your head, meditation improves your concentration levels, memory, creativity and also makes you feel rejuvenated..
Hypnosis or hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance. The person's attention is so focused while in this state that anything going on around the person is temporarily blocked out or ignored. In this naturally occurring state, a person may focus his or her attention with the help of a trained therapist on specific thoughts or tasks. How Does Hypnosis Work? Hypnosis is usually considered an aid to psychotherapy (counseling or therapy), because the hypnotic state allows people to explore painful thoughts, feelings, and memories they might have hidden from their conscious minds. In addition, hypnosis enables people to perceive some things differently, such as blocking an awareness of pain. Hypnosis can be used in two ways, as suggestion therapy or for patient analysis. Suggestion therapy: The hypnotic state makes the person better able to respond to suggestions. Therefore, hypnotherapy can help some people change certain behaviors, such as stopping smoking or nail biting. It can also help people change perceptions and sensations, and is particularly useful in treating pain. Analysis: This approach uses the relaxed state to explore a possible psychological root cause of a disorder or symptom, such as a traumatic past event that a person has hidden in his or her unconscious memory. Once the trauma is revealed, it can be addressed in psychotherapy.
Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose also called blood sugar is too high. Blood glucose is your main source of energy and comes from the food you eat. Insulin a hormone made by the pancreas helps glucose from food get into your cells to be used for energy. Sometimes your body doesnt make enough or any insulin or doesnt use insulin well. Glucose then stays in your blood and doesnt reach your cells.Over time, having too much glucose in your blood can cause health problems. Although diabetes has no cure you can take steps to manage your diabetes and stay healthy. Hypothyroidism is when the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones to meet the needs of the body. The thyroid is underactive. The opposite is hyperthyroidism, where the thyroid produces too much thyroid hormone. However, the link between hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism is complex, and one can lead to the other, in certain circumstances. The thyroid gland is found in the front of the neck below the larynx, or voice box, and has two lobes, one on each side of the windpipe. It is an endocrine gland, made up of special cells that make hormones. Hormones are chemical messengers that relay information to the organs and tissues of the body, controlling processes such as metabolism, growth, and mood. The production of thyroid hormones is regulated by thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), which is made by the pituitary gland.

If you are experiencing sex problems, you will probably be feeling very alone and helpless. Shame, fear and embarrassment are other common emotions felt by people living with sexual dysfunction, and many will suffer for months, even years in silence - too afraid to discuss their concerns with anyone. Sex problems are very common, and can occur for a number of reasons. In the majority of cases they are linked to other challenges and difficulties. For example, when you are feeling stressed and have a lot on your mind, you don't often feel like having sex or being intimate. This knock-on effect is usually mild and temporary and will soon dissipate, but if a sexual problem is more severe and complex, it can have stronger and longer-term effects on your sexuality, your relationships and way of life. Seeking help as soon as possible is vital for ensuring your sex problems do not have far reaching consequences. Sex therapy is considered highly effective for addressing the causes of sexual dysfunction, and for helping people to develop healthier attitudes towards sex and sexual intimacy. There are many different reasons why someone may develop sex problems, but generally it tends to be due to a combination of physical, emotional, psychological and situational factors. Physical factors - Disabilities and illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, alcoholism and drug abuse can contribute to sexual dysfunction. Individuals who have experienced major surgery, pregnancy and the menopause are also more likely to develop sex problems.Psychological - Anxiety, depression and other mental health issues can have a negative impact on sexual responses. Emotional - Unresolved grief, betrayal, unhappiness in a relationship, and low self-esteem can take a toll on how people feel sexually. For example, if someone has experienced trauma such as sexual abuse, they may feel unable to fully participate during sexual intimacy. Situational - A change in circumstances or living in a stressful situation (i.e. moving in with the in-laws, having a baby, or financial problems) can contribute to the development of sex problems.

Learning disability learning difficulty is a condition in the brain that causes difficulties comprehending or processing information and can be caused by several different factors. Given the "difficulty learning in a typical manner", this does not exclude the ability to learn in a different manner. Therefore, some people can be more accurately described as having a "learning difference", thus avoiding any misconception of being disabled with a lack of ability to learn and possible negative stereotyping. In the United Kingdom, the term "learning disability" generally refers to an intellectual disability, while difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia are usually referred to as "learning difficulties. While learning disability, learning disorder and learning difficulty are often used interchangeably, they differ in many ways. Disorder refers to significant learning problems in an academic area. These problems, however, are not enough to warrant an official diagnosis. Learning disability, on the other hand, is an official clinical diagnosis, whereby the individual meets certain criteria, as determined by a professional (psychologist, pediatrician, etc.). The difference is in degree, frequency, and intensity of reported symptoms and problems, and thus the two should not be confused. When the term "learning disorder" is used, it describes a group of disorders characterized by inadequate development of specific academic, language, and speech skills. Types of learning disorders include reading (dyslexia), arithmetic (dyscalculia) and writing (dysgraphia). Individuals with learning disabilities can face unique challenges that are often pervasive throughout the lifespan. Depending on the type and severity of the disability, interventions, and current technologies may be used to help the individual learn strategies that will foster future success. Some interventions can be quite simplistic, while others are intricate and complex. Current technologies may require student training to be effective classroom supports. Teachers, parents, and schools can create plans together that tailor intervention and accommodations to aid the individuals in successfully becoming independent learners. A multi-disciplinary team frequently helps to design the intervention and to coordinate the execution of the intervention with teachers and parents. This team frequently includes school psychologists, special educators, speech therapists (pathologists), occupational therapists, psychologists, ESL teachers, literacy coaches, and/or reading specialists.
